Therapy Development Manager

Position Summary

The Therapy Development Manager (TDM) is responsible for all commercial and therapy development activities of the Paradise uRDN system in the defined territory or region. He/she develops and executes strategies and tactics to successfully establish the ReCor and Paradise brand and drives uRDN therapy awareness and adoption in selected target key centers (CoE) and referral sites aiming to establish ReCor & Paradise as THE leading company and brand in the market. Working in close collaboration with all internal departments like therapy development/marketing, training & education, clinical affairs, scientific affairs or market access is essential for success. The position will report to the Senior Director of Commercial and Therapy Development EMEA.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Establish Recor Medical as the leading brand for RDN (Renal Denervation) therapies within the assigned territory
  • Identify, establish and expand strong relationships to relevant medical and non-medical stakeholders both within given uRDN centers and with other referral centers/practices
  • Target, engage and build relationships with selected HTN / uRDN KOLs around medical and scientific aspects of HTN & Paradise uRDN, including trainings, briefings / updates for KOLs around scientific news on HTN/RDN
  • Create and expand new HTN/uRDN business channels & networks (Hub & Spoke) to increase awareness and adoption of ReCor & Paradise uRDN within assigned territory / region
  • Analyzing effectiveness of HTN / uRDN network and referral path structures
  • Effective and successful implementation of Paradise uRDN therapy development strategies and programs (e.g. CoE events like webinars, training sessions, symposia, GPS registry, others)
  • Input on ReCor Medical`s commercial & TD strategy & execution
  • Territory planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Attend national and international medical/scientific events and congresses
  • Market research: monitor, track and report HTN (Hypertension), RDN market and competitive situation and dynamics
  • Technical and clinical uRDN case support: Get fully certified to train sites and staff, plus support Paradise uRDN procedures in Cathlab if necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of scientific, medical and market dynamics related to therapy
  • Always comply with relevant internal regulations, SoP, manuals and external regulations and Laws
  • Target and evaluate potential centers for clinical study projects in close co-operation and coordination with the clinical affairs team.
  • Co-ordinate proper execution of site initiation and enrolment of clinical study projects in close cooperation with clinical affairs team
  • Other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field (e.g. Life Sciences, engineering) or similar type of higher education and professional experience in Lifesciences or MedTech industry
  • Strong networking, plus communication and presentation skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experiences including experiences with clinical support in Cath-lab or Surgical operating room
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary teams and within matrix structures
  • Enthusiastic, positive and professional team player, self-starter mentality
  • Solid therapy development hands-on experience with a new innovative therapy
  • Clinical experience and background is welcome
  • Strong commercial mindset, positive can-do attitude and customer orientation
  • Analytical in approach with strong execution skills to drive and generate results
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
  • Computer literate with solid know-how of MS Office tools and programs
  • Fluent in English is mandatory. Additional European languages would be a plus
  • Able and willingness to extensively travel (over 50% of time)
  • Role must be located within territory or region and will be home office based
